I can't connect to that hulu link so I don't know what exactly is in there, but I get that quite often where I have trouble making out accents in films. I don't have an example fresh in my mind but it is definitely getting worse as I get older.

Me too Muddy! I guess my hearing is slowly going just like my eyesight! :sad:

Muddy, how difficult was it conversing with Matty in person? How many times did just smile and shake your head and in your mind say, "WTF did he just say?" :dunno:

I have met Matty twice now and no problem with his accent. I have problems volume-wise with everyone but understanding French Canadian accents is built right into my genetic code.
 
I will try again with the british movie. I love hulu because of the quality of the video
