Even the taser would've been overkill there, IMO.

Guys riding motorcycles without a license (or a plate) run from the cops all the time. I don't recall a single incident where a cop started shooting at them.

That is one big huge fucked up situation there. 60 Minutes did a piece.

People live in places with so many people who suck so hard that they would rather load their families in an unknown, overcrowded boat with no idea where it might end up - take their chances on that - just hope the boat doesn't sink and someone will let them land somewhere and they can start a life - than stay where they are.

As we speak there are probably 10? 20? boats just like that bobbing around in the Mediterranean.

That pic shows how some of them end up. I would guess maybe a lot of those people treading water there have a chance. Someone is aware of them.

Sometimes no one is aware of them.



All due to the extreme sucking of humans in Syria, Somalia etc.
