I have a question. Why did Gus slit that guy's throat?

I have my own half brained theories but I wonder if I'm missing something obvious because none of the reasons I can think of really add up to an outcome quite so severe. I have to assume it was just a combination of the chemist situation being under that guy's direct supervision, and Gus wanting to show he's a bad ass too.

Victor had to be discarded cause he was seen at Gale's murder scene. And I think Gus wanted to tell everyone else that they were expendable too.

I knew the gravity of that scene when they showed Mike jump back with a terrified look on his face. Gus was sending a clear message that he was indeed the HNIC. Worked for me.

why those dumb asses send the IRS check after that clumsy fuck died :clueless: waste of 617k imo... ... could hank of made the wreck any more obvious? show is totally reaching for shit now

i guess me and wally are alone in our thinking...although the personal performances are great in breaking bad, sons of anarchy is holding my attention much better right now

Not a big fan of what they've done to Gus's character this season. He used to be a creepy stone cold badass, and now he's turning into a conventional, emotional criminal/drug lord. It's coming across as phony. Old Gus woulda never hugged his doctor like that.

I don't know. The doctor just saved his life. Seemed like they were good friends.

He did tell Walt he would kill his family, including infant daughter. He doesn't seem that soft.
