Yah. Same W.W. inscription that was in Gale's lab notebook. The soundtrack at this point is from that earlier episode where Hank reads the first W.W. inscription to Walt.

Hank is more than just on the scent. He knows. It's just so far out of left field for him that he can only make a stupid, befuddled face while his brain is furiously connecting a long series of dots. Great acting here again. Lesser shows woulda probably made Hank look all wide-eyed and angry.

That scene in the backyard reminded me of the Sopranos series finale. Ridiculously tense slice of life. Very well done.

Exactly. Best episode of the season. By far.

Walt's "out" though. How's he gonna catch him? Does he even want to catch him?

Finally something worthwhile to anticipate again.

I wasn't impressed with the ending. It felt rushed. It does leave you wonder if he is really out or not. Along with you wanting to hope he is so Hank will just find bread crubs of an old story. Still doesn't make hank scott-free.

I really didnt like how fast we went from Walt is "out" to "perfect" family at home again. They've been developing and cluing on this separation for a season or two now and to have it fixed in a couple minutes wasn't cool.

True FF. I think they had no choice but to advance the plot that fast, with only 8 episodes to go.

Season 5 feels very much improvised, but what the hell. It's still better TV than anything else currently out there.

the whole season so far, when not extremely unrealistic, has been boringly predictable... i have been entertained, maybe 3 episodes of the sea. so far and after being a devoted follower, its no longer my thing... the bar was set too high with gus around and its almost as if they realize it and are just hurrying to get the show done...ive never missed a show and will continue to watch for some odd reason, but im sorry, this season has been awful :imsorry:

While maybe Walt is out in the sense of stopping cooking, there was never any chance he is OUT out. That flash forward at the start of the season was pretty much a spoiler as far as that goes. That shit is going to happen.

I'm not sure where you are seeing the perfect family. They had to take the kids back and no, Skyler didn't repeat her wish for Hank's cancer to recur in front of company, but it's not like they were showing a lot of passion at any point. I saw tolerance and maybe some relief but I wouldn't go further than that.

:dunno:

Skyler still despises, loathes, fears Walt. She can't fucking stand him. That will never change. She just loves her kids more than she hates him. And because of this, she had to give the impression that they're working on their marriage while Hank and Marie are present. Remember - up until the very end when Hank put the pieces together and discovered that Walt is Heisenberg, Hank and Marie believe that Skyler's affair with Ted is the main reason for the relationship falling apart. So in their mind, the marriage can still be salvaged. Skyler is just playing along.

Anyone wonder what Walt has been doing for loving? There's been no hint of that. Obviously Skyler hasn't given him any in months.

Should make a play for Lydia. She seems like a good fuck in the crazy bitch kind of way. C'mon, Walt. :megaman:
