The finish is good McBall's.

The other pic indicates more of a slide than rotation with the hips though. Not saying it's a bad thing but for someone not restricted by girth (such as myself) you should have enough flexibility to rotate your hips a lil better through impact and increase you power.

I would have liked to have seen where your core was at or just prior to impact though to be more sure.
 
McBall's the funny thing about the golf swing is that with enough practice someone can make anything work for their particular game. I have seen (and have my own) some terrible swings but guys make them work and work well.

I put the ISwing app on my Droid and took some videos of my swing a couple weeks ago and discovered just how REALLY badly I come over the top at the start of my downswing. I will try and upload it for example purposes.

i can help you and wally here mcb... wally, your analysis is 100% backwards... and the easiest way for me to explain it is to simply ask you to stand in set up position and turn your left hip behind you (promote a spin out motion) and see what it does to your right foot...it brings the heel off the ground and is why he finishes with his right heel spins way outside his foot at times...if he were sliding, he would have more right foot on the ground and his left knee would be bent more... everything is cause and effect...

his impact looks strong and he is a big guy, but he is holding on really hard...the clubhead gets well ahead of his hands shortly after impact... mcb probably hits more wipe slices that he would like... hitting balls with your right foot pulled behind your right foot is the drill for this, mcb...set up normal...and simply slide your right foot back behind your ass about a foot or so (rt toe about the distance of left heel) ...

i wouldnt suggest it for wally as i think he would simply read a few pages and say Fuck this Shit :lmao: , but the very best instructional book in the world is called The Golfing Machine... look it up, read a little about it (its geometry and physics) its not your fun bedtime reading and every page challenges you
