That is what I have to say to all my friends who supported our Elvis shows in August while at Flea World of Sanford.
They were some of the most emotional shows we've ever had. In the end a great surprise ceremony was given to me and my team. In appreciation, the wonderful folks attending presented me with a beautiful, delicious, fruit basket; Tammy Marshall, my manager, was presented a bouquet of roses; and Barry, my sound engineer and son, was presented a handsome (and much needed) cowboy hat.
I was absolutely taken by surprise and amazed at how many people were touched by our shows. A family of friends has been born.
Also, to my amazement, Dick LaVanture and his lovely wife Evelyn, presented a One Hundred Year commemorative Boy Scout shirt to me. He pulled a lot of strings and made several phone calls to make this happen. Dick and I connected when we discovered our common bond in the Boy Scouts.
The joy our team experienced this past weekend was incredible.
To all our friends, once again, thank you for a very successful August. You've touched my heart beyond measure.
