Minimart vegetables are $1.19 for a cup and have celery, radishes, carrots and tomatoes.

Very handy and convenient for the lazy person like myself who will do anything not to wash a dish.

I'd imagine the profit margin is huge.

Speaking of food places, I noticed that on the strip there are no little Mexican takeout places outside of the Tex-Mex chain Qdoba. However, they close at midnight. There are 24-hour taco shops all over this town that do quite well but there are none on the strip. There is a pretty large Mexican population here consisting of both locals and tourists with the proximity to the border and Arizona/California. If someone were to setup a reasonably priced Mexican takeout restaurant with even marginally decent food on the strip, I think it would do quite well.

Unfortunately, I'm not a very good cook.

been thinking about opening a liqour store in my newly un-dry county.
have no idea what the start up cost would be though.
finding a store front to rent wouldnt be a problem. finding someone honest/reliable to work it would.

been searching for some dependable help for my trim biz for a few months but everyone in this line of work is a fuk up and cant be counted on to show up for work.

getting the license is the hardest part.

expecially in newly un-dry counties. alot of times they only give out a certain amount of licenses. and the guys that lobbied to get this passed, prob are first in line to get them.... gotta have friends in the council ect.

finding a place near a few college campuses would be good.

My undergrad was and is a dry county. and after I graduated and went to a nearby grad school I lobbied to get it undry and thought of running for some public office. They thought I was the devil. in that town

right now theres only 1 license... the only reason is b/c of a mexican resturant that opened up. they lobbied to be able to sell liqour and the county passed it.
could be they just passed it for resturants and not store fronts.. IDK how that works.
but my neighbor is on the city council, and sorta of big deal here... former mayor
doubt he would be in favor of it though

I thought there was one on the strip, not far from Harrahs. I know I had a burrito at some ungodly hour last year in Vegas. Have no clue what the name of the place is or if I could find it again.
