Not even close. Simply if unfortunately finding myself a member of the human race in a time when Mao, Stalin, Castro or Hitler was leader then would choose to live under Hitler because at least my death would be quick and I wouldn't reach a maximum point of suffering ie entire populations starve to death.

Remember, if you're a farmer under a communist regime then you're also seen as having more than others and simply isn't being equal, now is it?

venezuela is a bunch of thugs and narcos turned totalitarians secured only by a based that is employed and supported by never ending petro dollars, there's nothing communistic about venezuela besides the propaganda bs that has to be regurgitated else risk getting fired and/or denied access to buy a half kilo of sugar or bread or whatever, there's no ideological support, people don't believe that shit they are just forced to support it at rallies seen by the outside world or get cut off

there's no communism anymore, it is a failed human experiment, it died a long time ago, not china not vietnam not venezuela not eritrea, just a few authoritarians who control the monopoly of violence via military and secret police to keep them wealthy, all the rest of the population just try to survive in any capitalistic enterprise they can make work, believe me within such countries there's no sense of communism among the people, it's just an image portrait outwards

Makes sense, the exceptionalist, racist, warmongers running the show today, have basically the same philosophy as Hitler, he is their hero. Maybe you'd prefer to live at time (like today in the Middle East) when you're under constant bombardment from the terrorist armies funded by benevolent imperialist.

not an experiment. An actual attempt by brave people to form a just and equatable community. It was ultimately squashed by the much more powerful and wealthy, who have much more to gain from exploitation than equality. ...But currently yes, there is no real socialist economy, maybe Korea.
