Okay boys it's official, MM is headed for retirement. He's a special talent but he couldn't be figured out from an injury standpoint. Kept having issues pop up with little or no activity and some of them potentially serious if he was to race. An affiliated org, https://thehorsefund.org/, will make sure he's safe in retirement.
Sad for me since he had so much promise and he never made a start in Vandelay silks.

I've got a whole crap load of breeding horses in the pipeline but only one race horse now, a 2yo filly - https://www.equibase.com/profiles/Results.cfm?type=Horse&refno=10967396&registry=T&rbt=TB
Damn, gg MM. At least you guys pulled him from racing before he suffered any serious injuries.

Another one, Frosted x Floral Hall. Bred by Wasabi and Vandelay and others.

Usually horses don't get named until the person who intends to race them owns them. Since we're breeding these foals to sell that'll be someone else. If for some reason we end up keeping one to race we'll name it as a yearling.

Any suggestions? Just make sure you check that a name is available here: https://www.registry.jockeyclub.com/registry.cfm?page=namesrch

Effinex is petty good cause it was rejected at first...

I remember that race lol

I've got a two year old filly who's on track to debut this summer. She'll probably start in the mid Atlantic (Colonial, Laurel or Monmouth) but she's NY bred so NYRA (including saratoga) not out of the question.

Keep me abreast if you hit Saratoga this summer.

I’m taking my staff the first Sunday in August.
