Is anyone else watching this show? I can't get enough of it.

Arnold Rothstein, Nucky Thompson (Johnson), Al Capone, the birth of the Italian and Irish mafia in America, the rise of Atlantic City, bootlegging....Scorcese, Buschemi.... this show has it all. Best thing on television.

I think it's been great from minute one.

That scene a couple weeks ago, where Jimmy and Capone take out the Irish gang leaders.... that was about as good a mafia hit scene as I've ever seen. I rewound and watched it about 5 times.

But yeah, it's only getting better. I know what you mean. I can't wait to see how they handle Lucky Luciano and Rothstein's boys after what happened tonight. I'm not looking forward to the season finale because I don't want it to end.

By the way, did you know that Meyer Lansky (short guy...Luciano's accomplice) is the inspiration for Hyman Roth of the Godfather series?

I haven't seen the show yet tonight. We watch it On Demand Monday night (bread goes to bed early). Nucky's (ex-girlfriend?) Lucy is my favorite. Totally adorables.

And then there's Omar (The Wire), you can't go wrong with Omar.

I love the slow build with character development. Agent Van Alden and his creepy flagellation problem, excellent. That's going to be one creepy character further down the road.

No, I didn't know that about about Lansky.

The show is simply amazing. I have a feeling they are building up a lot of things for the end of the season to keep us hanging with pisses me off but I can't get enough of the show as well.

The power struggle between Lucky Luciano's boys and Nuckie is going to be great going forward. The creepy agent weirds me out but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I like Bored to Death. I didn't at first, but it's grown on me. It's more than a little ridiculous though.

I never got into Rome, but I never really tried either. CYE was one of the best comedies ever.

Boardwalk Empire is purely fantastic though. It's not an easy show to get into I guess. Takes some paying attention to and a little bit of effort, and an interest in history probably too. I can understand how lazy viewers might hate it.

Somebody tell me what is so bad about it? This is the first I've heard anyone say they not only don't like it, but that it's terrible and trash. Can either one of you tell me why you don't like it, other than it sucks or it's not good? Is there a reason you feel that way?

It took me a while to get into The Wire. I guess some people prefer instant gratification rather than allowing the story to build.

I loved Rome, like CYE, haven't seen Bored to Death but I wanted to check it out. Will probably do so with On Demand.

CYE is like Seinfeld, nothing can touch it, though the Office is pretty close.

Bored to Death is great just cause of Ted Danson. Rome was dogshit but it was like Sex and the City

Big Love is great, Oz was great, and Six Feet Under was probly the best show ever.......wasn't in love with the Sopranos in their last 2 seasons....they just made AJ wayyyyyy too gay
