Dark horse approaching boys...

Snovio (SNOV)...

Currently less than 1 cent and available via Ethereum only at Ether delta...

Like this companies ideas and potentially could be a 1000x (this early) coin if they market the idea correctly. Basically uses smart contract to generate leads in the marketplace via blockchain...

Meh, I'm in for $50. Let's see how this goes
Damn wish we'd played for more than a 50 here...

Up almost 800% since we bought it...

Really like the short to midterm analysis of this coin and wouldn't be surprised if it had a market cap in the vicinity of 100-200 million mark within that time frame...

Xpy, when will reap the benefits from your hodling?

Will you pull out a coin every now and then?

Maybe treat yourself to a hooker and steak
Haha... Will be offloading one coin after news about it hitting a major exchange materializes...

Mine the btc then offset that by HODLing alts so when one is down the other (generally speaking) is up...

Btc making a bullish comeback. Don't be surprised if it tests all time highs by the end of the week...

Is it bad for the environment if everyone starts mining and using up all that electricity ?
Good question.

It's estimated that by 2020 the amount of energy needed to mine bitcoin will be the equivalent of the entire energy supply needed to power Denmark.

If you do mine yourself then try and implement renewable tech as much as possible or if u cloud mine then look for companies that are making an effort to leave a green footprint by utilizing energy forms such as hydro-electric.

Alternatively you can invest in 'green' coins. EDR claims to leave ZERO carbon footprint and solarcoin which gives you 1 solarcoin for every 1MW of solar energy you produce. Yeah it's not quite yet there in a economical sense but the beliefs and ideas behind such projects are identifying and attempting to tackle this problem.

Though yes, the issue of increasing power demands on these miners is definitely something that will play into increasing relevance as the coins become more and more difficult to mine...

banks win again

:mudcat:
For the time being perhaps...

No doubt there's a degree of heavy institutional money controlling this nut also alot of newish players who don't understand this space and see a bank token...

Ethlend looking promising. Basically offers a form of banking service (credit) to the 4+ billion ppl who are currently without them...

Please don't sneeze because the price of bitcoin will drop.

Yesterday it got up to $16.5K and today it is down by more than $2.5K. If it ever gets up to $16.5K then I'm out.
Lolz today was because the south Koreans thought crypto was going to be banned. The government actually had to come out and make a statement declaring the opposite as to not cause further instability.

Welcome to crypto where the biggest misconception one could make is thinking about this as though it's a Fiat type stockmarket...
