Some of the hottest romantsy type books are A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) and Fourth Wing. I haven’t read Fourth Wing yet, but my friends told me that it’s better than ACOTAR.

Haha my buddy's girlfriend gave me these exact two books as recs last night! Yeah Fourth Wing has crazy hype, definitely going to see what's up there. Thanks!

Maybe try Maupassant's short stories, or Waiting For Godot by Beckett, The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Tolstoy, The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick by Peter Handke, The Trial by Kafka, The Notebook trilogy by Agota Kristof.

Boys, we're buying into Sorcery Contested Realm. Like MTG with dimensional component (play board) as well. Not yet sold out so they've pledged only 1 expansion per year. Artists retain the copyright to the drawings.

Definitely targeting aging millennial/genx that want that high from the OG Magic days and have some disposable income.

First expansion of this game is coming out October 5th and pre-sales are mostly sold out. I have a bunch of boxes coming. The value of the beta held steady all summer which is a good thing. They did a targeted reprint. Not sure if the release schedule (1-2 expansions per year) is fast enough for today's high octane TCG market.

Speed Chess Championship final tomorrow, Magnus Carlsen vs. Alireza Firouzja. Alireza is a 21yo Iranian-French phenom who easily defeated world #2 Hikaru Nakamura in the semi-finals yesterday. Surprising upset.

Today Hikaru destroyed troubled cheater-turned-narcissistic-heel Hans Niemann in the 3rd place match.

This stuff is like WWE for nerds.
