Commissions Chart
The Exchange charges a commission on winning trades. This commission is calculated by subtracting your discount rate from the market rate.
Market Rate
The market rate is the commission percentage we charge on any given market to properly service and oversee the market. The market rate will always be posted below the market navigation tree on the left side of your screen for the chosen market.
Discount Rate
This is the discount we give you for being a good customer. The discount rate is calculated using a points system. For every $50.00 worth of risk you have immediately prior to settlement on any market, you will earn 1 commission point. Every Sunday after the close of the last market, your points will “decay” or be reduced by 12%. This is to reward consistent play and to give the best discounts to the clients that play the most.
Your Commission
Your commission is determined taking the MARKET RATE and applying your discount. For example- The MARKET RATE for horse racing is typically 6.0%. If your discount is 30%. Your commission would be 6.0 x .30= 1.80 (Your discount). 6.0% less 1.80 is 4.20%.
Always remember, that commissions are only charged on your net winnings for any event. If you net out a loss in any market, there are no commissions to pay.
