Sports or whatever.

First thing that comes to mind for me is from the world of sports. And it's actually 4 things but I'll sort of gather them together in order to limit the obnoxiousness.

Canada won 4 gold medals in my 4 major areas of concern at the Sochi Olympics. In order of importance that would be men's hockey, men's curling, ladies curling, ladies hockey. When we won 3 golds and a silver in Vancouver I felt completely spoiled and like it would be ridiculous to ever ask for more.

But nope ---> 4 gold.

That's my highlight with the men's hockey team being the top of the mountain.

And I have to add, still in the world of sports, what Madison Bumgarner did in the World Series was pretty mind-blowing.

If you were on Central Michigan +4 vs. Western Kentucky, that was the game of the year.

Even if you were up 5 TDs like me and lost on a last second 80 yard hail Mary that turned into 5 laterals and nearly a tie game as time expired, it was pretty amazing.

I want to say historical but I don't actually know. I watched the whole thing and I still can't believe it happened.
