I used to see a lot of shows in my younger days. Then I went for decades without seeing anything but then in the last year I saw three shows which were all great in different ways.

You saw Morphine live?? I'm sure it was pretty damn amazing.

Yeah it was surreal actually

Even then

Sandman was a master, the crowd was anemic, it was exactly what you would expect

And actually vaguely remember him being quite funny

Sucks because Morphine is the type of band that could've continued to make awesome albums til the end of time.

Meaning, they had a different sound and vibe than a band like Aerosmith, who has put out complete garbage since the mid 80's.

RIP Morphine. Glad we got what we did out of you

Bread good points, Robyn, they aren't in the same league but I really like The National. Check them out.

They get the Kato seal of approval as well.

I think I tried pushing these guys on Bread too. If you like Morphine, you'll like them.
