carlos santana. several times, seems like he was on the bill for every 70s outdoor full-day concerts i went to.

I saw Santana at old Maple Leaf Gardens ~1983. I like Santana just fine but he has never been one of my top favorites. I didn't go looking for the tickets; they just kind of came my way at the last minute.

It ended up being a great show that has crossed my mind several times in contemplating this thread.
