If you want to bet for fun, I'll accept. The structure in those tourneys is terrible. They are designed just to push people through as quickly as possible. If you're cold-decked for the first hour and a half of the tourney (about 60 hands), you better hope when you push that your hand can hold up 5 ways because you'll likely get 4 callers. The tourney is more about luck than skill for the most part. A much faster blind structure than any tournament for real cash, a lot of players who are drunk, beginners, or simply don't care. It's essentially a minefield with very limited opportunity for play.

Believe me, I totally hear you. Nothing worse than a shove fest where blinds go up every 10 minutes and they give you 5K-7K chips to start.

I just finished 4th in a tournament and I had 10 times the BB for the last 2.5 hours of the tournament. Somehow I managed to dodge several bullets to make the final table. The skill factor was almost completely removed (except that most of my opponents had no clue that when they got down to 10-15X's the BB that their only move was a shove).

Let's do this for fun: Whoever gets the luckiest and makes it the furthest in the tourny gets $50 from the other guy EXCEPT if one of us makes the final table and cashes, the guy who makes the final table has to pay the other guy $50.

If for some reason we both make the final table we can do some type of bounty. Agreed?

If you have a more interesting idea I'm all ears. I'm just trying to spice up what seems to be a pretty unexciting tourny
