Actually I just figured out why I like dubstep. I had a youtube playing of a Kiwi band for the past 7 minutes and I was sitting here kind of swaying here back and forth while people on the video were jumping around. I like that it's the kind of music that you can still be mellow to but it's not depressing. And when it changes up you have the choice to go mental or just kind of groove. Either is acceptable.

$100 to a guy I couldn't afford at a place in Calgary. There was a bar right across the street from my friend's apartment that had male strippers every Wednesday. I'm pretty sure the deal was from 6pm-10pm guys had to stay on one part of the bar while women drank for free on the other side and were entertained by male strippers. There was literally a wall and locked door separating us. We used to go every week and on this day my friend had been dumped by a guy who said that he'd prefer a skinnier chick (my friend is gorgeous but she's not an anorexic). So when the strippers came out to mingle before the show, I paid the least greasy guy to pay attention to her and use her as his demo or whatever they're called. I couldn't really afford it at the time but it was money well spent. I still think I could've got him to do it for $50 but I made the mistake of opening high. Me no pro.

I either have 25 or 50 episodes of this I bought off of ebay. The first time I saw one I was pregnant and extremely hormonal and burst out crying because I was convinced I was losing my mind. My son loved it for about a month but every time I've tried to put it on lately he turns his head to me and gives me a look like "yo mum, are you fucking serious with this shit?" So I've given up. One of the dvd's is currently in my bra drawer, one is in the sink in my upstairs bathroom loo, and I'm pretty sure one is in his wagon outside. Would've been awesome during my acid phase though.

it was very good. The person I was hoping for didn't win but the winner was a mom of 3 who was limited to a phone call every week with her family as they're on lockdown for the 4+ months that they film so it's nice that it all paid off for her. She won $100k and a cookbook deal but really all of the people who make it close to the end will do quite well from being on the show.
