Employees of one of Antiguas few remaining online gaming companies International General Enterprises Ltd (Intertops) have come out against that they believe to be the companys deliberate attempt to block their efforts to get trade union representation.

One senior employee who spoke with Antigua Chronicle on Wednesday said his bosses seem to have secured the favour of the Labour Department in disenfranchising he and his fellow employees.

Beginning last December more than a score of employees had engaged the services of the Antigua and Barbuda Free Trade Union (ABFTU) for representation. And after having gone through the necessary vetting processes and receiving the approval of the Labour Department to hold a secret ballot at Intertops premises, the staff were recently informed that the June 25 vote would no longer be allowed to take place.

...

He said some employees have raised alarm at internal warnings to them that should they proceed down the road of unionization, the companys operators would look to close the establishment all together.

Got a voicemail from Bet Royal. They are probably not in Antigua and are therefore not relevant to this thread, but here I am.

So many memories. I made a TON of money from Bet Royal. A lot was bonuses/promos but a lot was wonky lines they would have at times. But I also remember some legendary scammy guy that owned it at one point. I never got scammed a cent but that guy really did seem like a ne'er-do-well. What was his name again?

Aug. 2008. That's the last time my spreadsheets show any interaction with them.

Gave me a ring.
