I always wondered why when someone makes a thread like, "Are there any Dead Kennedys fans here?", there are always some that are compelled to pop in and say, "I don't like them" or "I think they suck".

He didn't ask, "Does anyone here think Korn sucks?".

If I made a thread that asked, "Are there any Depeche Mode fans here?" and FOcker came in the thread and said, "Depeche Mode suck long, fat horse cock" I would call him an asshole.
