My wife's family is 1/2 Native American. They are very good people. Not racists at all.

I went to high school and played hockey from 11 years on until the end of high school and my "friend" was a half breed whitey/Injun. He used to slam white people all the time in front of everyone and the full bloods used to laugh at him because he was such a hypocrite. The full bloods I grew up with were all taught in Jr High school by my father. They entire Res loved my father because he took the time to teach them and they trusted him. All of the dudes I played hockey with went on to become successful (lawyer, RCMP....but don't get me started on that) except 4-5 of them. The 4-5 that I know and know very well are lazy, living off the system Injuns. They know it and know that they don't have to do a thing in life because whitey takes care of them.

Not me. I did the research. There is a German lady (Huss) in the 1800's, but the rest is 100% French Canadian. Kinda lame actually.
