I didn't leave anyone and haven't aligned myself with any other sites either. I was over at The Hat for awhile trying to get Mo to go berserk on me, but to my chagrin Chuteboxe and Joeybagofdonuts seem to have muzzled their favorite lapdog. Once I realized I wasn't going to get a reaction out of him, it took all the fun out of that place.

Honestly, posting has gotten old for me, and I'm focusing on being more willing to travel outside my immediate locale to hang out with like-minded people. So far I've been quite successful, and my social calendar hasn't been this busy since I left Oregon, although my gas card is now costing me over $300/month. I'm dusting off a lot of the social skills that I forgot I once had, and much to my surprise I'm finding that others consider me pleasant company.

I still stop by here ever other day or so to read what's been going on. If any of you guys need me, I'm easy enough to get ahold of.

It's funny you mention that, because your thread on the matter took me back to a time when I was living with roommates in various apartments in Portland. In fact the best roommates I had were a couple of chicks during one of my most promiscuously gay phases. I'm sure that part of it was the fact that we could all coexist without any sexual tension, but I also learned from them some of the best habits you can adopt when you share a living space with someone.

The best lesson I learned was to cook meals for them on a weekly basis. So long as I personally cooked something for them to enjoy a couple times a week, I was basically able to get away with any scandalous behavior that suited me. Seriously, making out with half-naked guys in the living room, leaving shaving cream in the sink, even staying up for four days straight while tweaking my balls off was all tolerated so long as I fed them.

Naturally there are other things which are important, like leaving things in better condition than you found them and always having a carton of cigarettes in the freezer for people to mooch from. I'd start with feeding her well, and let things blossom from there.

Also, if she is a Ducks fan, you must berate her endlessly for the endless ineptitudes which represent the University of Oregon. Ducks fans are masochists, they enjoy that kind of shit.
