A lot of it is genetics.

There's no question.

I did feel better when I was on a pescatarian diet for about a year, but I had no gains. It was too hard to build muscle. I tried tuna but didn't want all the mercury. Eventually I came to the conclusion that for me, 1-2 steaks a week worked.

I know some people that eat steak every day. I won't go that far, and I do think the gym bros overdo it with the eggs as well. But steak and eggs, when balanced properly should be a part of everyone's diet. At least those who lift.

If you don't lift, then yeah, go for the salads. I love salads by the way. Just not a huge part of my diet...

The last 9 months I’ve been lifting and crazily I haven’t eaten any steak or eggs lol.

I’m all about chicken, yogurt, protein powder and salmon.

I’m still getting my 190g of protein a day. Yeah tuna every day would be bad because of mercury.
