you shut your face you serial-cooking meathead

we're giving serious medical advice here
Serial cooking meathead! hahahahaha (sorry HP)

Is Sudafed the same as DayQuill? I've been taking a bunch of that...Just had a bout of tinnitus too (ringing in ears) The fok. This shit is scary. Did you see a doctor Matty or just wait it out on your own?

dayquil has the cheap stuff in it (phenylephrine instead of pseudoephedrine)

i think pseudoephedrine is only sold OTC in your country, because meth

you want pseudoephedrine, it works great at clearing your sinuses

Here's the most pseudoephedrine you can get here.

Oh.l I didn't even look at the ingredients on what Mr X posted. I assumed he was saying that it was not available.

Were you scared when this happened to you Matty? Tell the truth. I freaked out when I woke up in middle of night. I had never had anything like this happen, so scared the shit out of me. Still is actually. I don't think I'll relax until that pressure feeling goes away.

Yeah I got a bit worried after a couple days, but I could temporarily unblock my ear by pinching my nose and blowing hard, so I knew my hearing wasn't actually affected. But it would go back to being almost completely deaf seconds afterwards. Really annoying feeling, I had to tell everyone at work that I could barely hear them.

My ears do all kinds of weird stuff.

Ok good. This makes me feel better. Some people apparently just do go deaf suddenly for no reason and being the hypochondriac that I am, I was convinced I was one of them.

You said it helped to tilt your head. I assume you mean toward the affected ear?

I can Rogue! I forgot to update. I went to the doc yesterday and she found some wax lodged in there. They irrigated it, and while it had improved on its own somewhat, I could REALLY hear. Felt like everything I was saying was REALLY LOUD.

I also figured out what probably happened to make this come on in the middle of the night.

I had slept with my heating pad on my shoulder. The heating pad was also under my left ear....it melted the wax...because I can't sleep on my left (affected) shoulder, I rolled over to my right side where the wax drained and then solidified again down in my inner ear.

At least I believe that is what had to have happened for it to come on so suddenly. Makes total sense to me now.

Sure a scary deal though if you have never experienced it. Thanks for asking. I wanted to make sure I got that cleared up before your senior warehouse visits so I can hear you when you're talking dirty.
