I was on my way to Dubai, but I got off the bus in Saudi Arabia to get chips and a Mountain Dew and was stranded.

Nice! I was gonna make a crack referencing somthing like that in my OP, but I thought that joke was prob over-done

RJ, did Blitty really go there? that is awesome.

blitty share some pics? Blitty are their hookers there?

have you been there Ally? do you live there?

Ally, what sports do you like to bet

the reason I posted this thread, because i'm fascinated with this city, and there was golf there a few weeks ago and now tennis there.

i'm looking for a good honeymoon. but i'm not sure this is the place

not sure but thought I read that somewhere as well as some other countries over there

I was wrong: from google
A long-term Dubai resident A load of nonsense is being posted. There are lots of decent, real pubs in Dubai. Muslims cannot get a booze licence as drinking alcohol is against their religion, that is not racist. It's the main religion in the UAE, but they allow non-Muslims to drink and also to eat pork. It's a pretty tolerant place if you follow a few simple rules.

Would I get caned, if I was drunk on the street and sang "don't stop believing" by Journey

REALLY loud, with the wrong lyrics?

would they cut off my tongue or somthing?

that place scares me

I really want to go, but I just KNOW... I'll end up on some webcast, getting my head cut off with a dull steak knife by some radicals
