just ordered a Blanton’s

excellent nose

delicious mouth swirl and a REAL solid finish

bartender said it’s tough to get this stuff around Derby time because of the bottle tops

this bartender is getting a HUGH tip because he’s a wealth of knowledge

interesting tidbit: they charge the same for a Makers and an Angels Envy.

Tron, did the same thing Friday night at the local brewery establishment. Knowledge alone on their craft beers got her a big TIP! Ended up by time we were leaving found out she was a manager who was filling in for shortage of servers! Off the Wagon Brewery had the BEST hand cut fries and geezer band was playing Steppenwolf, Cream, etc etc ..... TOP NOTCH too!

Guy on the left even kinda has that Ginger Baker look!

I thought that was your review of Blanton's. I've had that, and imo it's fine, but over rated, perhaps because of the horsey and the unique bottle. I've never heard of the Uncle Nearest, although now looking at the bottle, I feel I might have seen it somewhere
