Just to clarify, there was a heavy layer of sarcasm on my post.

It is an oft told tale of joining a gym and going 3 times and then letting it slide. I would guess that is much a more common story than joining a gym and really sticking with it for the long term.

yeah totally muddy. trying to get in shape is a lifestyle change. "joining a gym" or buying weight loss supplements etc are classic north american quick solutions to being overweight (im not saying fivey or anyone here is overweight except for wally). "take this pill and lose 45 pounts in 6 weeks!" "sign up at our gymn for $99/month and see guaranteed results!!!!!"

its just where we are as a society, trying to take the easy way out. they make it look like you HAVE tyo buy SUPER-MAXXX WHEY HARDCORE 100% PURE WHEY or other dietary supplements, or you NEED 3 types of gatorade (PRE-FUELING, ENDURANCE AND PROTEIN FOR THE POST GAME!), when all youre doing is emptying your pockets.

99% of that shit can be eliminated at a fraction of the cost buy simply improving diet. do some research on nutrition or even go see a nutritionist.
