The reason I couldn't do my own lines was because they wanted me to use the lines from other books so that when I had to create a thread informing everyone about the props available I had to put at the bottom Powered by... and the name of the book, this was another way for them to get players to sign up with their affiliate codes because of course I had to add a hyper link to the name of the book that I had used that day... and the limit thing was established by Bill and John, they thought that they would get hit too much because of the props, I even offered them to manually move their lines but they told me that they would rather use the automatic feed that they had which followed cris at first and then started to follow their "own" lines movements from sbr odds which was still cris...

but in all honesty I was kinda getting paid to do nothing over there, I really didn't mind cuz hell it was money comin in so I could pay rent and get shit done, but honestly I wanted to help them with their marketing and picking up their SMO but they didn't want to invest in FB ad's so I was really limited to what I could do... I guess in the end that's why they moved me to "DO" their lines for props...

But all in all I have nothing bad to really say about them, there were a couple of guys that were really cool and of course like in every company there has to be a pain in the ass boss... I leave that to your imagination...

Mr. D:what?:

Good luck Dax with your venture. I agree with Monkey, facebook is probably a bad way to launch this, especially anything related to gambling. You need a place for emails on your web site that isnt just tied in with facebook. I would have added my email if you had something like a mailing list sign up form on your site. Get something like Mail chimp and get an email newsletter or update and keep people informed on how things are progressing.

How can one have a passion for marketing? What does that even mean? Sounds like something CaliGirl would say :dunno:

It's possible

In addition to my clinical interests, I have a passion for marketing and communication, actively engaging in and implementing effective marketing and PR campaigns for a number of clinics.

I have a passion for marketing and driving results for businesses through creative efforts. My background spans seventeen years and it's quite unique, gaining experience in marketing, public relations, event development and sales through my career in mall marketing and broadcast sales.

If you're looking for some honest feedback, Dax...

I hate to say this, but I really don't see much of a future for your FB page.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it. I think you're going to need a new idea.

What are you offering that nobody else already does better? And how exactly do you plan to make any money off of it?

Seems like a non-starter to me.

Dude as long as it's constructive criticism it's all good... And If I tell you what it is that I will offer, that no one else has thought of, what's the point of creating something if I'm just gonna give the info away?

Money isn't my end goal, money will eventually come... My first priority is build the application and gain the exposure I'm aiming for.

But anyways, thanks for your comment man, it really helps me to figure out new ways to get people just like you hooked and eager to play my game...

Be Cool,
Dax

When someone says they're passionate about marketing I think of two things. They're a huge tool, or just being extremely disingenuous. I hope for Dax's sake he's just trying to be popular and push his 103202302302302040404230302130'th casino game on facebook.

I'm passionate about the online gaming industry, the way you love to bet and feel the rush, I get that exact feeling when I create a campaign and start watching the players roll in to get their rush...

So when I say I'm passionate about something doesn't mean that I want to be popular or that I'm a tool, it's just my bread and butter and what gets me up in the morning... I enjoy being creative and I enjoy finding new ways to get the players attention and make the gaming experience much more enticing.

And the difference of my site is that it's not going to be a regular slot and card casino game, there will actually be a degree of difficulty to it, which will make it different from the rest...
