I think it is a mistake to say that we hold "those in power" to higher standards then just being human.

I think this article says, and gives some evidence that it is "human" to be a little freaky.

as long as it is not pathological or addictive and hurting ones performance or others..... whatever floats your boat is cool.

just because I guy works in politics or is an nfl quarterback doesn't mean he should have to give up his right to get dirty on the internet.

if its a question of under-age people I disapprove. I don't really approve of marital infidelity as a matter of personal belief. But I also think it is stupid

for politicians to be fired or impeached (ala Bill Clinton) for personal matters of infidelity. I've never heard of some guy down at the factory or in the coal mine being fired for cheating.

if they aren't breaking laws, its a personal matter, and just because the media can get their hands on it and run with, does not mean there needs to be repercussions.

I know technically infidelity is against the law.......

but c'mon people, we prob do more harm by making those in elected positions more secretive, pathological , and guility about their sexual hang ups or preferences then is healthy.

i viewed this post, and the above picture a moment ago and my boss walked in my offic right then and said "ew thats disgusting what on earth are you reading online?" and I go "oh some blog site about theatre marketing" (my career) and he believed me. really? I mean.... really?

not in america, at least not in this time. what criminal charges did clinton face for fooling around with that pork slut?

infidelity is merely a matter for civil courts as they pertain to registered, civil unions between a couple.

also have to disagree with you on the notion of not holding elected officials to a higher standard. you're correct that since they are human, they are going to make mistakes. but not holding them to a higher standard is a recipe for disaster.

personally, i don't care who anyone else is sleeping with unless they are sleeping with me. but i do care about where my congressman is sticking his willy -- or whose willy is being stuck in my congresswoman -- if for no other fact than it could lead to that representative being pressured via extortion to vote a certain way on a bill.

Bay Bud is on point. The only thing that people should be worried about concerning this matter is it has become a trust issue. We have to be able to trust that these people are going to make the right decisions especially where private information via the internet and social media are concerned. this morning I had two interesting penis encounters....

one was a very very pale dude, that was like 25-30ish.... but his genitalia area was very very very dark. I mean it drew your eyes right to it......
