Mudcat, don't get too excited with Lost per MrsMonkey! She says it can't go anywhere but up from last week's episode but don't bet on it! She's debating as I type whether to watch it live or not. She might watch Purdue-MichSt with me if I put a bet on it! God, I love this gal, just don't know who the hell to play?:clueless:

You can listen to music on something other than the radio in a car? OMG I got to look into this.

Muddy, you can run the DVR out feed into your VCR; and then your VCR out into your TV. That way you can tape things from your DVR to your VCR

I wondered if someone would suggest something like this involving even more complicated inter-relationships of technology. It sounds like a fine idea now I just need you to come over and set it up for me.

Anyway, I taped Death Comes to Town and watched it when I got home last night and that was good. I guess I'll follow some of the suggestions here and look for the full episode of LOST today. Although, as I'm sitting here thinking about it, I am realizing more and more that I don't really care if I see it or not. Probably better than 50/50 that I won't even bother.

What else needs to be said? Yes, I have a CD player in my car so you can't make fun of me for that. The fact that I don't know how to burn CD's and I have a friend do it for me might be suitable for ridicule.

You really don't have to look very deep to find things to ridicule about me.

Calm down Muddy.

Hey the DVR through the VCR is really simple. Instead of running the "cable out" line straight into the TV, you put the VCR in the middle of the operation. I used to have mine setup like that to permanently capture any games I DVR'd that I thought I might want to keep for posterity. If you ever do decide to join the 21st century and get a DVR, drop me a line and I'll be happy to walk you through the setup process.

I am having a lazy day so I did watch LOST. The ABC website wouldn't play it because I am outside the US but they had it on CTV.ca which is the Canadian station that carries it.

Weak episode I thought. I wish I had found some other way to express my laziness.

LOST is losing me. My disorganized brain can't make any sense of what's going on now. Why are they expanding on the alternate timeline? Is it concurrent to what happens on the island right now? Are we right now in both cases? If so, why and how? If not, why and how? What the fuck is wrong with Jack's hair?

I find myself watching an episode then heading over to fukkin' LOST forums to have someone less lazy than me explain wtf it is I just witnessed.

Fukk.

I answered one of my questions. The alternate timeline is (obviously?) back in 2004 since they just landed safely at LAX.

Now, I completely forget what brings them back to the island a bunch of years later. I know they want to undo, or redo, or do differently, something.

Fuuuuuuukk.
