So.. I recently joined a new gym in the city. I got a good deal because I was a member of the same company in CA. The sales rep. kept trying to push this personal trainer promo. on me. 4 sessions for around $140 or so.

I wasn't really interested, but she was persistent and mentioned a few times that "you can just get a refund, with no questions asked, if you are not satisfied". She kinda winked at me every time she said it, like 'just buy it now so i can at least get my commission and then cancel later'.

Anyways, I went to my first session today. Everything seemed fine, the trainer was cool and all. I kinda have it in my head to get the refund whatever happens. I would feel bad if trainer guy got screwed over, but I doubt he will. Why else would they have a 'No questions asked policy?"

What do you guys think?

Well I should at least do the 4 sessions before I cancel right? The guy plays in a minor league football league. A fellow athlete. He could show me a few things. I just want to cancel in spite of the way, the lady kept inadvertently telling me that I could. But I don't want to stiff the trainer. It's a big company so i'm doubting he gets stiffed, right? Those gyms make a ridiculous amount of money.

should have told the broad that you know how to lift weights and get on a treadmill....thanks but no thanks...probably just eat the 140 now. cant see you learning anything new from the trainer but at least get some nutrition info an shit like that from him and the most important thing blitty.... ask him who the SINGLE girls are that he helps!

Well yeah my first thought was that im in decent shape and don't need a trainer, but he has shown my some good moves, plus the nutrition stuff. Im looking forward to next few sessions. The motivation helps a lot. Gonna feel bad when I stiff, but why else they have that policy. I'll just tell the guy that the bitch was deceptive, and begged me to join then cancel. Dumb slut.

Blitty,

You mentioned the Rep. winking at you. This wink, was it one of those "hey cutie, you're not getting your money back but I'll be your refund" kind of winks or is it possible it was one of those " HA! A sucker is born everyday" kind of winks?

Blitty, you want to be a hardass and get your money back but there appears to be a bit of guilt in you story. Is it possible that it is in fact guilt at maybe costing your trainer some finacial gains once you cancel or it there the slightest chance you find yourself strangely attracted to your trainer. Not totally in a sexual way but kind of a man crush type of thing. Blitty, if you are attracted to this guy it's not your fault, with all the ball pics here it's probably been subliminally planted in your head. Avoid taking a steam with your trainer after sessions just in case.
