We've got the Fish +3 +130 hosting The Texans. Houston is everyone's darlings after shallacking Indy in week one.

Thoughts: Houston is pretty good, not THAT good and Manning is by far the most valuable player to his team in the league and he has been every year for a long time. One of many things I took away from the Pats game is that despite all the redonkulous yards the Pats put up Miami was in the game at the end. Henne actually does look significantly better. I still think they are fucked on 3rd and short situations with Bush though - he's not that guy.

Miami feels embarrassed, tightens up their D and pulls this out and Houston comes crashing back down to earth. I am not cool enough to pick that in the pool though. Not even close.

Steve/'s I'm not a Texans fan but there is no denying that they have always been able to score and that hasn't changed, if anything gotten even better. They have always been weak on defense and on that front they appear to be much improved.

Miami threw everything they had at New England who are a workman like type of defense and while they managed to put up more points than I personally thought they would they still weren't overly impressive on that front. The thing that surprised me was how tired and winded the Dolphins defense looked mid-way through the 3rd quarter.

I am not disagreeing with your play cause (A) I suck in the NFL (B) what looks good one week looks awful the next in the NFL and (C) I don't really have anything except watching games and or highlights to base anything on in the NFL.

I know you are a fan of the Phins so I hope you win.

Geekbet.com the book I have had for years offers 3-Point Teasers at +130.
I told you and I have said repeatedly that I really convinced myself that the UNDER was golden alone and I played it as a stand alone wager as well. I felt the -3 was good but with so much hype about Miss St I mean I'm not the best, I could read the info wrong or I could easily allow myself to be bias so even though I was kind of confident about the line I thought I would add some insurance just in case.

I would have got LSU -165 moneyline or I could get LSU +1/2 and UNDER 52 at +130. Now if LSU loses outright I lose the same amount but if LSU just wins I win at +130. I'm no genius but if I am stand to lose the same amount but can win more I'm taking the win more option.

I don't over-think things Durito, I just do the best I can with what I am working with. I think in rationalized terms which don't always conform to mathematical I guess.

I'm not being a dick, I know you are trying to help but in all honesty I seriously don't understand where I made poor judgement.
 
Wal next time bet LSU -3.5 -110 & under 49 -110. Just put 1/2 unit on each bet. I think durito is partially right here. You bet 1 unit on a parlay with -195 lines on both LSU ML and under 52. I'm beginning to think durito is right some times.

I don't think Durito is wrong nor do I think he isn't trying to help, on the contrary I am confident he is intending to help.

I've tried to explain what I was thinking, that's all I can do.

The last couple of pages has sucked the joy out of friggin winning.

As fun as it seems, pro gambling does take a heavy toll. I believe they live around 10 years shorter, on average.
