And I think becoming a grandpa has mellowed Saban out. At a press conference earlier in the season, when asked about injuries, he started talking about some guys having boo-boos.

Adding two teams doesn't solve the problem, it creates other problems like who you don't play is an advantage. At least the B12 played every team. So if Bama lost to a mediocre Missouri team, they are the SEC champions and the SEC isn't represented in the final four?

Yeah if Missouri had won they would have been conference champs and would have been left out of the playoffs. Logistically speaking, we can't play all of the teams in our conference. They only allow so many games each year. I guess the committee felt a conference champ who stood alone was worth more than co-champs. All the Big 12 needs to do is add 2 more teams to their conference and have a conference championship game.

pretty obvious paid off riggaments from the big10... no team, that wins big during the season, gets leapfrogged by 2 teams...until the final week...winning by 52 gets you jumped because the others won their conf.ship game... ... ugly and more importantly, obvious paid off political whoreshit out of the big10 and ncaa committee...

Texas and OK wrecked the Big 12, causing some good teams to leave. The committee members have said that the extra game OSU played counted a lot in their complete body of work.
