2015 NCAA Football Playoff Championship Thread

Just wanted to put this out there with this being what the entire country of CFB fans have been hollering to have for years to prove what team is truly the National Champion at the end of year! Me included big time! Always work Sat so CFB has been nada for years to me but being off last 4 Sats realized how much I have missed it and look forward to this inaugural series!

If you don't know, the top 4 teams are picked by a committee to play in what you could call the Final Four of foots! The final selection of the teams comes some time in early 12/15! The major bowl games are involved on a rotating year-by-year basis for the semi-final games! Below is the schedule this year!

Below is the results of the first vote done yesterday! Don't know the scenarios but hard pressed probably for any college below N Dame to make it unless everything falls into place for them!

Nice vid posted by RJ already that shows the fanatics of college FB rooting their team on and how bad a loss can be! Was rooting hard for the Rebels myself but came up short this past Sat night! Luckily they are still hanging onto the last spot in!

i wrote something at peeps yesterday when i was bored out of my mind.. its only sec school related...

if bama wins out, they are in... regardless if they get in the sec championship or not, they will be in...done deal ... all others will have to win the sec championship to get in
(with a slim exception for State... they could beat ole piss/bama and lose to uga in the championship and still have a chance to get there, imo)

if ole miss wins out, both them and bama will get in...
(dont worry about it, ole miss isnt winning out)

if state wins out, they would obv. be in... and all other sec teams are out (with 2 loses)

Aub. first needs to win out... but they need ole miss to beat state so that they get to the sec championship...they dont get there if state beats ole miss

if uga wins out, they are in...

bottom line, the sec championship winner def. gets in... along with bama even if they dont play

Dunno why I want Saban to win he was a shitty coach for the Dolphins but Ricky "Cheech" Williams didn't make it very fair for him. edit: figured it out - he god fucked by the Williams situation so I pull for him.

He was a shitty NFL coach because he can't intimidate them like he does in college. I have 2 friends who played for him at Mich St and both said he was the biggest SOB they ever met. You can threaten college kids by yanking their scholarship and they go home to rural Georgia, but that doesn't work in the NFL for long.

I'm not sure why Bama fans are crying. They take care of business, they are in the playoffs. I would love to see a Bama, tcu, Oregon, and FSU/Miss St, providing ore and tcu win out. Tcu should be rewarded over a 2nd SEC team because they played everyone in the big 12. Too many teams are affected by who they don't play in large conferences. Oregon is really helped by having Mich St on the schedule. The team who needs help is Ohio St. I suppose ASU has a shot if they win out also, they would be ahead of Ohio St also.

A lot will happen in the next 3 weeks, it'll be fun. Have to think they expand to 8 teams when this contract is up.

Here were the standings from this past Tuesday .......

Final Four will be finalized at 12:30 PM today! This committee has me scratching my head on their determinations each week so far! Even though all 6 teams won this weekend the top 4 probably will change this time!

My prediction is .....
