Just a few words of wisdom from an expert loser at this stuff!

1) Avoid looking too far ahead in the season and out smarting yourself! Pick the most probable winner for that week! Injuries and the sorts happen and only 2-3 weeks down the road a team presently thinking a -10 fav is now -3!

2) Especially early in the season when many games to pick from, ALWAYS go with a home team fav! Team looks great as a -8/10 point road fav and bam, upset!

Here's my 4 choices this week in order of preference .....

1) Saints
2) Steelers
3) Colts
4) Eagles

I don't know how it will go here but a lot of these pools will lose most of their players if the Saints don't win this week.

I don't think the Saints are that good - and I suspect the Bucs aren't that bad - I would be taking the Bucs plus the 10.5 - but the oddsmakers are definitely making the statement that the Saints are the pick of the week.

Almost worth going against them because if the upset happens you might win on the spot.
