Finally scored a reasonably priced Caufield Young Guns. 40 Canadian dollors. Last fall they were going for as much as $120.

Pulled my first Bedard out of an Upper Deck Extended series blaster I bought at Walmart this morning. Worth about 80 Canadian dollorz. Also pulled a Logan Cooley Young Guns (CA$50-60) in the same box. Crazy stuff. I might send both for grading at PSA - the Bedard's corners look real good.

Pretty cool score at the local Walmart here (Drummondville, QC). They had four oldballs Mystery Tins for 15 bucks each, with a shot at getting an expensive 2015-16 Upper Deck Series 1 pack (which gives you a shot at a McDavid Young Guns.).
I got two packs of 2015-16 but no McDavid. What I did get is these:
The Chris Higgins is worth fuck all, but the Haydn Fleury is maybe $25 Canadian because of the 4-color patch and the game-used Jagr is about $50. Not bad at all. Went back and asked if they had more but Walmart staff don't stock the cards section, that's done directly by someone working for the distributor.

And up here we have a common payment scam where people pretend they're out of town and want to pay upfront by e-transfer and pick up later. They then send you a fake e-transfer email hoping to phish your banking login info. It's not super sophisticated but it must fool people all the time.
