I feel pretty strongly that this is going the distance because of the rules. See RJJ vs Mike. They gonna be fighting with pillows on their hands.

But yeah who the fuck knows. Might well end up like Holyfield vs. Belfort, with the old guy unable to take any kind of a punch.

 
I guess I just started looking at it like Tyson needs to win early

But yeah, if it's a fix who knows
Would be real disappointing for Netflix first sport gig and all the people in that stadium if it actually is a clown show

They announced the 14oz gloves and 2-min rounds a long while ago.

RJJ and Mike used 12oz gloves and couldn't hurt each other. And Jones has had a glass chin since the first Tarver fight.

That's my angle. But again, who the fuck knows.

I think in this case, yeah it going the distance with a 60 year old man would be a clown show. Tyson gonna huff and puff his way into the 8th round? You still gotta throw punches. I dunno. That's my take.

That Holyfield fight is giving me pause. Guy couldn't take any punishment at all, he was instantly knocked down.

Now, 58 is old but it's not 60-something old. There's a big difference in endurance sports. And Mike looked great at the weigh-in yesterday.

I dunno I dunno. I'm excited to witness this nonsense.
 
hope to wake up and read that Tyson got angry.. veered off the fox script and gets DQ for biting Jake's dick, head butting him and kicking him when he falls to mat and Logan coming in to save his brother and iron mike knocks him out. snf straight to jail for some Islam and historical world leader refresher learning

endurance is easy for old people to maintain and reacquire. if mike really trained, the distance should not be an issue.

reflexes and speed are not maintained or easy to get back for old folks.

I think the muscle memory will be there no question (not sure if that's what you mean by reflexes) but late in his career Tyson wasn't very good deep in fights so I figure that window is short for him.

I guess we shall see if this is just them dancing around or if there's an actual fight here. It's not an exhibition like RJJ fight. And if there's an actual fight and they are throwing haymakers then I love that under 6.5.
