I think that's a fair discussion point.

I don't vote for politicians I like. I vote for the person I feel will do the best job.

Not sure who could vote for someone they like these days, they are all, by any measure, professional liars. Perhaps this is the way it's always been, it's just far more obvious now. It's also hard to know who these people really are outside of how they present themselves publicly, unless there is a scandal, etc.

Bread and circuses, I guess.

We will see how long even that can last.

Anyway, seems like the key line from the night much like Trump's "They're eating the dogs, cats, pets" line was this banger from Ballz Walz.

Eh, this was a misspeak, not an intentional point like the one Trump was trying to make. Definitely an unfortunate one.

I think his handling of the question about his past quote was worse, where he rambled to dodge answering and called himself a knucklehead. Not a great night for Balz Walz.

JD Vance did well all things considered. Dodged some questions and got caught in that bit not admitting Trump lost the election in 2020, but overall held his own for sure.
