The more I think about it the more I’m convinced that whomever wins, we are in for 4 years of intermittent extremist violence. This election and the aftermath may be something we have never experienced before.

Not even thinking about the rioting aspect. I’m thinking more in the lines of random acts of violence by singular extremist people.

The country harbors unhinged people from both political sides and this election I feel will give some of them a faux justification to act on their beliefs through vile means.

Totally agree but we both know which side is the more "unhinged" one! Past realities tells us that.

Watched it. Don't think I get what's funny about it? Probably ya gotta be obsessed (consumed?) so much with this guy that you know his mannerisms and stuff and even the littlest thing sends you off to chortle with friends (who are also obsessed)?

To each their own! Certainly no obsession or chortling here.

Just showed up on my feed and I was just amused by the boring little story about the boring little table of snacks, followed by the revelation that this was the "energy that fueled" the campaign and also that this was a fundraising video.

It's that awkward deadpan not-funny-makes-it-funny vibe for me. More of a smirk than a chortle.
