I mean the years where we were locked in our houses and many were forced to take a vaccine or lose their job (not me, I had a fake vax card, fuck them). And then the years where we could go outside but we had to eat in an igloo and wear a mask, and then the years where we sent hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine just for them to kill their own people in a war they can't possibly win. Those years.

You mean like the S&P 500 and the sitting President not ruling out a 3rd term?
By the way, I told you he was going to try to run for a third term. It's in this thread. Multiple times. It will never pass Congress though, and besides, Obama would probably run against him in that scenario.

You left out that we had to close up and shelter while these policymakers were traveling all over and not masking up. The southern border was a lot of fun also. If we complained about the illegals coming over unmasked, we were racists.

Looks like Canada isn't on the list.
I would say if tariffs don't work, why are all these other countries using them? It's simple. We are consumers and we import on a massive scale. So, clearly they work.

Markets will go down every time Trump talks about tariffs. I have been putting 28% of my income into my 401K for the last 18 years. And I'm not worried one bit. Not changing anything. You have to play the long game with the market.

reciprocal tariffs

Do y'all feel liberated?
I believe Canada played their cards right, because yes Canada has cards. Tariffs on automobiles is the only one I can see that affects us and many of the parts on Canadian built vehicles are manufactured in the US.

No we couldn't win a trade war but we seemed to have won the first battle.
