I really like bowling. I never learned “the spin”, though, so I shoot between a 110 and a 150 the 2 or 3 times a year I bowl. When you don’t learn “the spin” you hit that lead pin head on and that’s not good for strikes

I once bowled a 204 (had 5 strikes in a row) but I never came close to that again

The last bowling alley I went to felt like I was walking back in time into a scene from The Big Lebowski. It was very cool.

They all have that BL vibe it seems.

There is a poster at EOG named MrBowling300. He has 6-7 perfect games.

I'm with tron. My best ever is a 210, high school buddy I was bowling with also scored a 210, his then all time high in the same game.

I have a cousin who has several perfect games. He's a good bowler and as a teen his parents told him he couldn't go pro. Think he's working for the DPW now.

Used to bowl in a very competititve mens league in Toronto from 1996 - 2001. No trophies, just prize money.

Lots of gambling. Had a break between the 2nd and 3rd game to draw for chances at $250 prizes for strikes, hit those many times, was very good under pressure with everyone watching and hoping you miss so they could get a chance for the prize.

My best game was a 286, we had many 300 games bowled in that league. I could/can throw a decent hook with a custom ball.

My achilles heel was the 10pin, if I was consistent at making the 10pin spare I would have had a much higher avg. (185)
