Went to Morton’s Steakhouse last night for my first restaurant experience in 10 weeks. Was there for 3 hours and a total of 14 people were dining. Service was borderline smothering. Felt bad for my server. My date even sensed it, so I know I wasn’t being overly critical.
Bar was closed off, so a pre dinner drink had to be done at a bar table. Never a fan of those personally.
With the curfew set last night for 10:00, I was mindful to get out by 9PM out of respect to the restaurant staff. The manager also made numerous trips to the table.
