I'm sure it's an objective non politically motivated "investigation". I'm guessing it concluded that evil Putin was forcing athletes to take drugs while taking breaks from "meddling" in elections. ..But hat's what happens when you lose your sovereignty

Pretty telling that they want athletes to go but not under their flag or anthem. So basically the hope is not to stop someone from "doping", but to encourage prominent people to disassociate from their country. Tactics from a very old playbook, might backfire

Yeah that's the problem. Everybody trying to be too nice. Over-thinking it.

Just exclude the whole damn weasel-state. Do it for a few more Olympics as well. ESPECIALLY summer games.

It's too bad for athletes who didn't want to cheat - but life is tough that way sometimes. Sometimes you get caught up in shit.
