I don't really like the pre-packaged store bought bacon anymore... The butcher shop up the street sells stuff that has not been soaked in all that goo... I guess they just brine and smoke it..

It has ruined me for packaged bacon.

I ate some quinoa today. I don't think I ever had before. Like not just a spoonful of it. It may have been in some things I've had before. An ingredient and whatnot.

Well I don't know.

I neither love nor hate it. It tastes like all the stuff around it.

I know what foods I am not going to like. I don't need to try them. People like to trot out the, "How do you know you don't like it if you don't try it?" And there is some simple-minded sense to it.

But I know.

Every once in awhile I get adventurous. It does not fit in with my personal philosophy of life to just not try new things.

But that should really only apply to things that are not food.

I remember a friend trying to coax me into dim sum awhile back. Said it is amazing and said he knew a great restaurant. I knew I wouldn't like it but I guess I was in a mood so I said okay dammit. YOLO 'n shit.

Almost threw up on the table. Seriously - had a little wretch there.

Then went for a BLT.
