Screeching Johnson, it's most likely not a targeted "attack" on your site. The Internets are filled with garbage like this that self-replicates and roams around for a while. It may or may not be malicious. Think of it as pollution.

This is exactly why people who understand the technical side of computers are absolutely abysmal communicators and teachers. If someone is asking me about building a car engine, I assume he/she has never seen one before. People have different levels of knowledge regarding anything whether it be computers or building rocket ships. The best teacher is the one who assumes they are working with a blank canvas and goes from there. Computer people do not get this.

My current grievance relates to people who knowingly screw up their own lives and then expect tea and sympathy for it. My favorite cousin is going to be a father in a couple months and lately he's so regretful of the decision that he comes to my house EVERY SINGLE DAY after work to hide out from his old lady and stepkids. He talks about how he wasn't thinking about how much of his current life he'd have to give up for the kid. He's gonna have to abandon his racing career to take a second job to make up for his old lady's maternity leave, and he just wants to whine about it and plaintively cry for "help."

Of course in this case help means money or time or something else that I have which he doesn't. And I might even be a little sympathetic, if he didn't actually PLAN this pregancy to keep his old lady from getting disinterested in him. I'm sorry, but if you tell her to get off the pill and that you want to be a Dad, you can't then later on bemoan your own fate; suck it up and suffer in silence like the rest of us. And most of all don't use my house as your hideout, I like my privacy and I don't like getting you drunk and high every night before you go home.

So my grievance is people who engender their own misery and then attempt to inflict it on others to mitigate the burden. I've fucked up my life repeatedly and always lived with the consequences in silence. All I request is the reciprocal courtesy.

P.S. I tolerate it because he was the only cousin that visited me in jail. It meant a lot back then so I look the other way now. But in my own defense, I never once whined to him about jail when we spoke, it was always talk of what was going on back in the world. I'm not a party pooper.
