That's fine, man. I'm sure Robyn was right, and at this point I'm nothing more than the forum snob, but that suits me just fine. I won't apologize for being myself, that principle is at the heart of the issue I'm trying to address. Either ban me or put me on ignore, I doubt I'll ever be able to sit on my hands when I feel only one side of a story is getting voiced.

I notice that as soon as someone challenges you to a higher standard, you retreat into your feigned simplicity. Don't kid yourself in thinking that you don't reveal just as much about yourself by your reactions as I do with my persecutions.

I like you, as do a lot of people here, and I certainly don't want you to feel like some sort of e-outcast juste cause we don't get the same enjoyment out of the exact same things in Forumville. It's just silly Internet shit.

No, I won't calm down. I've had it with the promulgation of this concept that if you don't celebrate these "special" personalities that you're somehow missing out on something. That there is some treasure beneath the awful syntax or the endless repetitions of the words boys, baseborn, and iron. Anytime someone comes here asking about Shanty or Pally, all the apologists line up single file to express their reverence and awe. I simply wish to balance the scales and to reaffirm to those out there with quizzical looks after reading one of their posts that there is indeed nothing to see. A cheap, silly laugh is all they have.

There is nothing to miss out on, that's all I seek to prove.

This is no different than you being unafraid to express dismay at those of us here who are hunters, Bread. You and I, we're not so dissimilar. You love animals, and I love the English language, or more appropriately, I love the beauty which can be witnessed when people employ language not simply as a tool of self-expression but as one of impassioned and learned discourse. Just as you could not help yourself from stopping a man from beating a dog, I can't pass a Shanty or Pally post without reminding them that it is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to post on the forum and remove all doubt.
 
RS for what its worth I enjoy your opposite views. Sometimes I even anticipate them when I see a topic that's going to get your interest.

Most of everything in life needs balance, RS provides it on some level here in our own little world.
