I kept hearing people say how he wanted to play with his brother. Maybe it's just me but I find that to be some ghey shit.

Like who cares? 99-point-something percent of the population doesn't work with their brothers. Who gives a shit? I don't work with my brother. If it happened I suppose it would be fine but it's not like I need to turn down a better deal and move to a new town just so I can go work with him. He's there whether I work with him or not.

The Sedin's are the ultimate example. Break apart for crying out loud and stand on your own. Both of you. Cut it out with the ghey shit.

That is all.

This Sutter kid have much potential? Any relations to THE Sutter's?

hopefully this #8 trade pick defenseman pans out... Poullet? isn't that the french cuisine?

between the first round picks and the other guy the Pens got in this trade, 3 young defensemen!!!!

With a bit of luck he'll have a monster year as the 1st center in Carolina.

Visions of 2006.

so what do we think of Donald Fehr? I recognized him as a former mlb players union head.
I like his demeanor and I think he probably did good for the baseball players. Seeing how it's the only no cap sport.

Sounds like the owners want to keep more money even though they are making more. :dunno: Whose side you on?

Can't stand Donald Fehr. He makes it hard to vote for the players with how he dealt with previous labor issues in baseball. I think the owners really contradict themselves when they are crying over mega-contracts,yet were giving them out the week leading to the lockout. The bigger issue in these cases is small markets vs big markets. Once that is settled, then work on labor.

another 53 games chucked... 135 in total now ... need to get underway by nov 2. in order to have a full season...something like that...i reallly dont know, i just wanted to contribute to the thread
:dancingbear:
Thanks Ray Nicely done.

Would not surprise me if they start on Jan 1 with the Winter Classic. Detroit is worried about losing it. If that happens, the owners will really put the screws to the players and the season will be lost.

Poor NHL! I mean lockout, strike whatever ....... with NFL, MLB, NBA and hear bout it every day! With hockey and nobody in Philly is discussing it at all! I mean Phillies and Eagles so disappointing but nothing being heard on the sports radio at all! Seems the same way nationally too!

Sad and all parties concerned better do something! Probably putting it more on the owners from the little I know! If teams have to be disbanded, then do it! I know a new owner who maybe paid ....... whatever, 100, 200 million for a new franchise needs to get his money back from the rich teams ........ so Ed Snider, pay your share! Just sayin!

From what I know when new teams are created, the money gets equally divided to be disbursed to the rest of the teams? Dunno! Hopefully Mr Snider didn't spend it all!
