Anyone see 60 minutes last night? Any faint doubt I may have had about his claims of racing clean has been removed.

I wonder if he'll still persist with the denials. I guess probably. There have already been some reactions from his people trying to discredit the guys who came clean. Distasteful shit. Why can't people know when they're busted?

Well who knows? Maybe he'll surprise me and man up.
 
I don't care if athletes use substances to give them an advantage at their job. I take energy drinks to stay up all night and code. You can also bet your ass I'd take some drugs if they made me better at the job I want to accel in. Because of these opinions I don't care if other professionals use substances to be better at their jobs.
 
I do care if athletes take illegal substances but that is a whole other discussion.

From the sounds of things, in cycling, you either take the substances and do the blood doping or you are irrelevant. Lance Armstrong's accomplishments are still pretty amazing on what was a level playing field.

I'd like to see him say that. Maybe he will. But if he continues to do a Casper, that's what will get stupidly annoying.

It's one thing to lie, but when you start calling other people liars in order to protect your lies - UGH!



But then I'm not even sure what the stakes are. Marion Jones went to fokking jail and I can't remember specifically why. Maybe Lance would face the same?? Dont know.

If jail is on the table, that might justify some weaseling.
 
Yeah I'm not sure if he ever lied under oath. That would be an excellent reason to come clean.

But yeah, Lance Armstrong is one of the greatest athletes to ever stand on this earth (doping or no doping). I'll go look it up but if I'm not mistaken his heart is like 3X the size of the average human and his VO2 max is just off the charts.

Lance was doping but so were ALL of his competitors. It's a shame he just can't come out and say, "yeah, I did it, but so did everyone else and I won the fucking Tour 7 times. No go fuck off"

I could see you on the climbing the French Alps and someone wanting to hand a glass of water to you and you telling them, "God no, I prefer a Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertain, 2006 mind you!"
 
If all others who were competing against Lance were doping based on their testimonies and Lance wasn't doping like he says then he maybe a superman because he managed to beat all others who were doping while competing with him while he was all clean.
