My first one was a drug trial and the second involved an officer shooting a suspect.
The first one was like straight out of 12 Angry Men. I managed to convince the other 9 (only 10 jurors for these) that the prosecutor was weak in his evidence and the cop was sketchy in his testimony.
The second one we found the shooting was justified but there were some serious questions about some of the evidence. Problem was while we agreed the defendant was guilty and the officer acted in good faith we had no degrees of right or wrong. Laws are very cut and dry and sometimes you have to choose which way to go in a gray situation.
So did they both walk?
