I used to run 4 times a week. But as I've gotten older, the humidity down here seems to wear on me more.

The most important advice I could give to you is to replace your sneakers every 6 months. They may look as if they don't need replacement but they do. Your knees, feet and ankles will love you for it.

I used to ice my knees with a bag of frozen vegetables for 5 minutes after my run. That may help you with ankle pain.

God bless

I am a biker, not a runner. Running seems so much slower and more jarring.

I used to be involved in a lot of sports and would do a lot of running for those. I was pretty good at sports. I was not a fast runner but I always had moves, and my running got me where I needed to go.

But that was decades ago. Now I have lost my running mojo. Sometimes if I have to do a little dash across the road between traffic, it ends up being a comically awkward thing. I run like a rusty old barn gate or something.

Here is Deniro demonstrating jailhouse workout rapeface:

used to run as a young lad, now only if I have to... and I dont get very far before I feel like I cant breath

just got back into lifting weights... got some weights left over from when I lifted before. used to have a weight room before the youngest was born but gave the set to my brother.
been doing a mix of jailhouse/bruce lee/ Herschel Walker work outs.

I was a very good runner in high school and college.

messed up my knees up real bad running on asphalt/pavement for 25-75 miles a week for 5 years.

I have the knees of a 60 year old man

run outside on trails or rubberized paths if you can. otherwise eliptical or do intervels on the treadmill.

I have run, but don't care for it. I don't like how my lower back feels after running.

I prefer P90X which absolutely kills me. So much in fact that I hadn't picked it up in 4 months until this morning.

3 discs in I almost wept.

It's easily the best workout I've ever had.

CB doesn't that old guy that leads the workout... (tony or somthing??

make you want to throw your dumbells threw the tv though?

I love intervel superset workouts with simple movements and body weight stuff... I wouldn't be able to take the douche bag for more than 5 mins
